Sam Claflin, Tom Hollander, Anthony Boyle and Josh Finan Join The Worst

Eclipse Films has announced a major expansion to the cast of The Worst, the upcoming British dark comedy written and directed by Simon Woods.

Sam Claflin, Tom Hollander, Anthony Boyle and Josh Finan join the production, alongside Anna Maxwell Martin, Dustin Demri-Burns, Sian Clifford, Zackary Momoh and Eka Chavleishvili.

The nine new additions join previously announced stars Keira Knightley, Alicia Vikander and Erin Kellyman, bringing together an impressive ensemble for Woods’ feature directorial debut.

Set at a château in Provence, The Worst follows a gathering of wealthy friends whose elegant evening begins to unravel as personal rivalries, uncomfortable truths and spectacularly bad behaviour come to the surface.

The film is produced by Andrew Berg and John Sachs of Eclipse Films alongside BAFTA-winning producer Josh Hyams of Promise Pictures.

Filming is now underway in the south of France, with the expanded ensemble bringing a whole new collection of difficult personalities to the château.
